With the establishment of the “WAVO Global Education Hub supported by IVSC“, the World Association of Valuation Organisations launches a landmark initiative to enhance education, training, and professional standards for valuers and real estate professionals worldwide. 

The objective is to strengthen quality control and standardisation in valuation education on a global scale while fostering a shared professional framework across jurisdictions. The Hub offers a comprehensive and curated course portfolio covering core valuation modules as well as forward-looking topics including ESG, PropTech, green building appraisals, social housing, and the impact of contaminated land.

A key pillar of the initiative is the implementation of the International Valuation Standards 2025. In close collaboration with the International Valuation Standards Council, selected webinar series based on IVS 2025 are delivered. These courses include structured assessments to evaluate and reinforce participants’ understanding and consistent application of the standards.

The Hub was first introduced at the 11th WAVO Congress in Bucharest and later presented to approximately 200 international delegates at the IVSC Advisory Group Conference in New Delhi. The endorsement by IVSC leadership highlights the global significance of this initiative.

As emphasised by Nick Talbot, CEO of IVSC, high-quality education is essential to achieving consistent, high-standard valuations internationally. The WAVO Global Education Hub represents global collaboration, professional excellence, and the continuous advancement of the valuation profession.
