HypZert Certfication & Valuation Award 2022

... and the winner is... Dr. Dieter Bärwald 

The Certification & Valuation Award has been presented since 2001 to persons who have made an outstanding contribution to valuation, especially for the financial sector and for HypZert GmbH. 

In the past 21 years, HypZert has presented this award only 10 times - so it is rather selective. 

Many of the previous award winners were among the guests on the evening of this year's award ceremony, including 

• Mr Wolf-Dieter Haase, who received the 2019 award on behalf of our Regional Group Coordinators. 
• Mr Wolfgang Kälberer, who received the award in 2016 for his many years of outstanding work around the MLV on a national and international level. 
• In 2014, the award was presented to Mr Rudolf Baugartner, who received the award for his long-standing and extraordinary commitment to HypZert training at the academies of the German banking industry. 
• In 2013, the award was presented to Mr Yves Ulrich on behalf of our HypZert Professional Groups for their outstanding projects and contributions as well as for exemplary commitment to all aspects of real estate valuation 
• and Mr Raymond Trotz, former long-standing chief valuer of HVB/ UniCredit as well as founding father and chairman of the supervisory board of HypZert GmbH, who received the award in 2010/2011 for his extraordinary and tireless commitment to the professionalisation of German and international real estate valuation. 

Against this background, it was a special honour for Dr. Jan Peter Annecke, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HypZert GmbH, to present this year's CERTIFICATION & VALUATION AWARD. In his laudation, Dr. Annecke mentioned that the past year was again very successful for HypZert and that this was only possible thanks to the employees of the office and - especially - the many committee members. In particular, he highlighted the Professional and Regional Groups, but also the Steering Committee, which advises the HypZert management on the further development of the certification programme and the quality policy, and of course the Board of Examiners, without which certification examinations could not take place. 

Dr. Annecke explained that the HypZert certificate has such a recognised high standing in the financial sector, above all, because it is known throughout the industry that the examinations are, on the one hand, very demanding from a technical point of view, but on the other hand, always fair. 

Thanks to the three-member examination committee and despite the occasional nervousness of the candidates, the oral technical discussions take place in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. 

For this reason, HypZert presented the Certification & Valuation Award this year to the members of the HypZert Board of Examiners. 

Dr. Dieter Bärwald accepted the award on stage on behalf of the members of the Audit Committee. 

Dr. Bärwald has been a member of the Board of Examiners since 2010. He is involved in all sorts of examiner activities, such as: 

• in the preparation and second assessment of exam papers  
• in the supervision of examinations 
• in correcting and evaluating submitted reports or
• in conducting oral examinations. 

Dr. Bärwald has been committed everywhere with his specialist knowledge and many years of experience and is thus a reliable pillar of the HypZert team. 

Dr. Bärwald and the other members of the Board of Examiners are an essential part of the HypZert family. They stand for HypZert quality and the reputation of HypZert GmbH, Dr. Annecke continued in his laudation.
