Delta examination HypZert F for real estate valuers

This delta examination is aimed at persons who have already demonstrated their theoretical and practical specialist knowledge in the field of market value analyses in an examination procedure, but not at HypZert. The objective is to recognise examinations already taken if appropriate documentation is provided, in order to avoid having to take examinations twice.

Please note that we can only acknowledge successfully passed qualifications if there was a previous examination procedure that is comparable in terms of structure, sequence and examination content to the one HypZert GmbH requires. Considering this, we are obliged to review each case individually, for which we require the applicant’s assistance.

Admission requirements

The applicant must:

hold a valid market value-certificate (residential/commercial properties) awarded by a certification body for property valuation that is accredited pursuant to ISO/IEC 17024. The market value certificate must be comparable within the certificate HypZert F in terms of the requirement profile and property types.

be publicly appointed and sworn in for the valuation of developed and undeveloped properties; the public appointment and swearing-in must be based on a successfully passed examination, which is comparable to the procedure of HypZert GmbH

be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICIS or FRICS) with a focus on real estate valuation (incl. examination) and registered as a RICS Registered Valuer

be a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and have sufficient knowledge of the national regulations in the field of real estate valuation.

The certification body recommends that the applicant should have prepared at least 30 mortgage lending value analyses so far.

Certification Examination

Written examination:

Part I: Plausibility check of an incorrect mortgage lending value report

Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Part II: Answering of individual questions on different topics from the examination catalogue

Duration: 1 hour.

Processing of application: 500 €

One-off participation in the written examination: 1,700 €

Repetition of written examination: 1.,200 €

Annual monitoring fee: 550 €

Recertification of examination: 1,500 €
