EXPO REAL 2025 – Impulses, Networking, and Perspectives

From 6 to 8 October 2025, EXPO REAL once again served as the central meeting point for the European real estate industry. With around 42,000 participants and 1,742 exhibitors from 34 countries, the trade fair sent a strong signal: the real estate sector is showing visible signs of stabilization – despite challenging conditions.

Compared to the previous year, not only was there a moderate increase in attendance, but the share of international visitors also rose by almost five percent.

Key Topics: Housing, Innovation, and Market Developments

This year, the topic of affordable housing was particularly in focus. With the new Flexible Housing forum and the publication of the EXPO REAL Housing Study, the fair provided important new impulses.

The significance of the issue was further underlined by the visit of Federal Minister for Housing, Verena Hubertz, who emphasized the urgency of new approaches to residential construction.

In addition, the Transform & Beyond innovation platform once again proved to be a central stage for future topics such as decarbonization, digitalization, smart buildings, and data-driven neighborhood solutions. More than 80 exhibitors – including over 50 start-ups – presented tangible solutions and technological innovations.

In conversations across the event, the industry showed optimism: while transaction volumes have not yet returned to pre-crisis levels, topics such as market consolidation, risk management, and strategic realignment moved into sharper focus.

Our Presence

In 2025, HypZert once again participated with a joint stand designed to encourage dialogue. The green urban gardening style provided a calm oasis amid the busy trade fair and was intentionally chosen as a symbol of sustainability and growth.

Numerous discussions took place at our booth with certified valuers, partners, interested visitors, and industry representatives – ranging from professional exchanges to strategic discussions on valuation approaches in a volatile market.

For us, this appearance was an opportunity to strengthen our role as a center of competence in real estate valuation – and at the same time to gather and reflect on impulses from the market.

Conclusion & Outlook

EXPO REAL 2025 once again proved its value as an important platform for exchange, business generation, and trend-setting. Amid an environment of uncertainty and reorientation, it became clear that the industry is ready to actively shape the future.
