No mortgage lending value without property inspection! However, for properties below the small loan limit, the inspection can also be carried out by an (external) "surveyor. This can be a staff member of the financing credit institution or a third person on behalf of the bank.

Objectives: Qualification of the surveyor by providing the basic knowledge of the scope of a property inspection as well as the necessary basic knowledge of construction engineering for an assessment of residential property in the small loan sector. In this way, the requirements of the BelWertV and the Residential Property Loan Directive for the inspection of residential properties when granting small loans are fulfilled.
