Delta examination for HypZert Real Estate Valuers for Standard Properties to gain the title “HypZert F”

HypZert Real Estate Valuers for Standard Pproperties or real estate valuers with a comparable qualification have the opportunity to become HypZert Real Estate Valuers for Financial Purposes, HypZert F, whereby parts of examinations already taken may be recognised.

Admission requirements

Certificate "HypZert Real Estate Valuer for Standard Properties – HypZert S" or proof of a comparable recognised qualification
as a university graduate, a total of at least five years of practical real estate-related work experience, of which at least three years must have been spent in real estate valuation

without university degree, a total of at least eight years work experience in an area related to real estate, of which at least five years must have been spent in real estate valuation.

The certification body recommends that the applicant should have sufficient experience in preparing valuation reports in the commercial sector (in particular, properties run by operating or management companies).

Certification Examination

Written examination:

Part I: Valuation (market value and lending value) of a (predominantly) commercially used property (incl. special real estate)

Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes

Part II: Answering of individual questions on different topics from the examination catalogue

Duration: 1 hour

Oral examination:

The prerequisite for admission to the oral examination is passing the written examination. The examination is usually taken by an examination board of three examiners. The examination is not open to the public.

The areas tested are based on the examination catalogue. The duration of the examination is 30 minutes for individual examinations and 60 minutes for group examinations with two participants.

One-off participation in the written and oral examination: 1,700 €

Repetition of written examination: 1,200 €

Repetition of oral examination: 700 €

Annual monitoring fee: 550 €

Recertification examination: 1,500 €
