CIS HypZert (MLV)
HypZert Real Estate Valuer for Mortgage Lending Valuation
The examination is aimed at persons who have already worked for many years in the valuation of real estate in another country outside the Federal Republic of Germany, who already hold a recognised title for the determination of market values and would now like to qualify additionally in the area of mortgage lending valuation.
The applicant must
hold a valid certificate issued by a certification body for real estate valuation that is accredited pursuant to ISO/IEC 17024. The certificate must be comparable to the CIS HypZert (F) certificate in terms of its requirement profile and property types
be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with a focus on real estate valuation
be a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI).
The certification body recommends that the applicant has so far prepared at least thirty mortgage lending value analyses.
Structure and duration of the written examination (in English language):
Part I: Preparation of a mortgage lending value report Duration: 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Part II: Answering of individual questions on various topics from the examination catalogue with the focus as per Section 6.5. Duration: 2 hours.
Processing of application: 500 €
One-off participation in the written examination: 3,200 €
Repetition of written examination: 2,000 €
Annual monitoring fee: 550 €
Recertification examination: 2,000 €
