HypZert MLV – Recertification

The examination is aimed at persons who have already worked for many years in the valuation of real estate in another country outside the Federal Republic of Germany, who already hold a recognised title for the determination of market values and would now like to qualify additionally in the area of mortgage lending valuation.

The applicant must

• hold a valid certificate issued by a certification body for real estate valuation that is accredited pursuant to ISO/IEC 17024. The certificate must be comparable to the HypZert F certificate in terms of its requirement profile and property types

or

• be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS or FRICS) with a focus on real estate valuation (incl. examination) and be registered as a RICS “Registered Valuer”

or

• be a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI)

or

• be a registered real estate valuer for commercial or corporate properties at the Nederlands Register Vastgoed Taxateurs (NRVT – Kamer Bedrijfsmatig Vastgoed or Grootzakelijk Vast­goed)

or

• have completed of a tertiary degree in a relevant area of study AND submit a Letter of Ref­erence by a client from the banking industry AND a list of at least 20 MLV reports compiled by the candidate.
