Quality Policy

The following quality policy is fixed by the steering system committee of the HypZert GmbH:

„The certificates of the HypZert GmbH should create with principals and market participants trust in the competence and fulfilment of the problems of the valuers. The support of this trust as well as the achievement of a wide recognition of the certificates as a quality sign are essential aims of the HypZert GmbH.

Hence, the certificated is defeated for the validity period of the respective certificate of the supervision by the certification authority. Objections and complaints of sides of third towards the certificated consultant should be grasped within the scope of this supervision activity and be approached for the purposes of the quality standard as an important criterion for his judgement. With the procedures put up by the HypZert GmbH and rules should be always made sure that the certificated valuers satisfy the following quality criterions:

  • High education level and high level of knowledge
  • High education level and high level of knowledge
  • Permanent continuing education
  • Logical use of the methods of the mortgage and market valuation or of the market and property rating
  • Professional work
  • Observance of the occupational principles


The realisation and supervision of the certifications should occur through specialised competent staff of the certification authority or through subcontractor (examiners) who is selected by the certification authority carefully and considering the high demands for the quality. Staff and subcontractor should take part in regular trainings to hold her knowledge on the topical state.

By the realisation of the certifications the independence and impartiality as well as putting on the same high high-class graduations belongs to all applicants and certificated consultant to the uppermost principles of the HypZert GmbH. The certification authority pays attention any time to the fact that by her organisational structure the impartiality remains protected, so that no individual interests can dominate and an equal treatment of all and certificated consultants to be certificated is guaranteed. She also pays attention to the fact that the confidentiality at all levels of her organisation is guaranteed. The HypZert GmbH will make sure that it disposes of the necessary equipment and documented procedures to be able to carry out the personnel certification according to the criteria for this activity.

The certification holder should be informed of HypZert GmbH through them concerning changes of the certification system immediately.

For the prevention of abuse of the competence certificates the certification society procedure and rules with which abuse is pursued presents itself. The place disposes of procedure for denial and annulment of the competence certificates, so that it can lift given certificates according to clearly defined criteria again.

For the reaching of the quality aims the improvements which concentrate in particular upon the following points should be aimed perpetually:

Furthermore it is an aim of the HypZert GmbH to promote the mutual recognition of certificates on the base of comparable criteria for their granting within the scope of the growing together European home market and to contribute with it to a harmonisation of the certifications which condition for a mutual recognition as well as a relief of trade is between the countries."
